A VERY RARE PRE-PATENT BENTLEY ELECTRIC WALL CLOCK the ebonised glazed case enclosing a 12 inch glass dial with gilt Roman numerals fronting a brass skeletonised electrically driven movement with heavy brass bob pendulum running through a coil with insulated contact trolleys; the backboard mounted with a silvered plaque inscribed by the retailer "E. Smith, Leeds", the clock documented in The Horological Journal, April 2022, a copy to accompany the lot.
