VISSIERE, No. 41. A RARE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH TWO DAY MARINE CHRONOMETER in a brass gimballed case housed in a later brass bound box, the 3 inch signed silvered dial with regulator layout, outer Arabic minutes enclosing a subsidiary hour dial to the left and running seconds to the right, the power reserve indication in an arc below fronting a signed and numbered chain driven fusee movement with Harrison's maintaining power, later compensated bimetallic lever escapement.

The box is a later replacement; the movement is dirty and will require a service. It is in working condition, but the escapement has been replaced with a later lever escapement. The dial is dirty but in good condition, with its original hands, brass case and gimbal.
