A MID 19TH CENTURY AUSTRIAN BIEDERMEIER ROSEWOOD VIENNA GRAND SONNERIE REGULATOR WITH ALARM dial signed "Fr. Mosslinger" having a white enamel Roman dial, a four-train movement with spring barrels and weight-driven going train, the glazed case with pierced foliate cresting and brass pendulum.
111cm high
The movement is original to the case, and is chiming the correct hours and quarters. It is also running, but may require a service; the pendulum suspension has snapped, and there is a hairline crack to the dial. The case is in good condition with no losses or damage. The movement, dial and case are original to each other; the name on the dial is under the enamel and looks original.
