A GEORGE III FLAMED MAHOGANY QUARTER CHIMING LONGCASE CLOCK WITH RARE YEAR CALENDAR the hood with swan neck pediment and painted glass eglomise panels above glazed arch door flanked by brass capped reeded Corinthian columns on feathered trunk with reeded quarter columns on brick moulded canted corner box base with applied panel, the 13" arch brass and silvered dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, concentric year calendar dial and centre seconds, scroll engraved centre, the arch with rotating moonphase fronting a three train weight driven eight-day movement with anchor escapement striking the hours and the quarters on a nest of eight bells
