A LATE 17TH CENTURY WALNUT MONTH DURATION LONGCASE CLOCK, the figured case with moulded pediment above a piereced frieze and barley twist columns on slender trunk with moulded door and boxwood inlay on crossbanded base raised on bun feet, enclsoing an 11" square brass dial with winged cherub head spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted engraved centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture fronting a latched five pillar month going movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell.
