A GEORGE III FLAMED MAHOGANY PAINTED OVAL DIAL EIGHT-DAY QUARTER STRIKING LONGCASE CLOCK with 13" wide oval painted dial having a seated maiden and floral sprays to the top above a Roman chapter ring with seconds and date dials, fronting an eight-day weight driven movement with anchor escapement, striking the quarters on two bells. The case with swan-neck pediment above reeded Corinthian columns to the hood and cross-banded trunk door with reeded columns and oval panelled base with ogee bracket feet.
