A SMALL AND FINE GEORGE III ORMOLU CASED MUSICAL BRACKET CLOCK, made for the Turkish market, the domed pediment with applied acanthus leaf mounts above a pierced silk-lined gallery, the case with acanthus leaf canted corners, piereceed sound frets and silvered moulding enclosing a 5" masked enamel dial with Turkish numerals below two subsidiary dials for Chime/Not Chime and tune selection playing "Hornpipe, March, Dance, and Song" fronting a signed eight day triple fusee movement with verge escapement playing the tunes on 12 bells and hour striking on a larger bell. - Comes with a later wall bracket.
