A good, genuine chest. The handles are 18th century replacements, which have butterfly backs. But there are marks where other handles have been. The drawer linings are oak, and all the locks are present. There is a separation crack on the left hand side. The top is in good condition, and the chest would benefit from being cleaned and repolished.
