A LATE 19TH CENTURY GILT ENGRAVED CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK having foliate enamel panels, enclosing a gilt Roman dial with gilt chapering and subsidiary alarm dial, fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement with alarm and its original compensated lever escapement striking and repeating on a gong, presented in its original Moroccan leather case.

The clock is in very good condition. No loss to the gilding, no damage or restoration to the glass or enamel panels; the dial has no damage; the movement may need a service but is in working condition, with the original lever escapement, striking and repeating the correct hours.
