A FINE GEORGE III MAHOGANY CHIPPENDALE STYLE TILT-TOP TABLE with one piece pie crust top above a finely carved fluted stem with leaf work bulbous turned base supported by three leaf carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. Similar to a table sold in Christie's, The Stevenson Family Chippendale Mahogany Scalloped Top Tea Table, attributed to Thomas Affleck (1740-1795).

This is a very good original table. The top is orignal to the base. The top is flat which has a scratch mark to the centre and small water stains. There is a fine crack to the edge to the mould which runs into the table, approximately 5 cm. the base is finely carved and there is a crack to the edge of one leg where it joins the stem and there is a piece missing off of the edge of one of the crawls.
