A RARE AND IMPRESSIVE MID-19TH CENTURY BRASS ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL THREE TRAIN QUARTER-STRIKING SKELETON CLOCK ATTRIBUTED TO SMITHS OF CLERKENWELL under a brass-framed glass dome, the elaborate architectural frame with cast figural guards raised on a green velvet base inlaid with silvered brass, enclosing a pierced Roman numeral dial fronting a three train movement with six-spoke wheelwork, seven shaped knopped pillars and a mercury-adjustable pendulum with deadbeat escapement, striking the quarters.
