CHARLES PARROCEL (1688 - 1752) AN INK AND GREY WASH ON PAPER depicting a horse and chariot with slaves in tow - signed it the back Charles Parrocel and titled Peintre de Louis XIV (Painter of Louis XIV) Charles Parrocel was a painter to Louis XIV, the scene could be from the Battle of Blenheim (1704), or the Battle of Ramillies (1706) - signed to the reverse.
