AN 18TH CENTURY AND LATER FIGURED WALNUT EIGHT-DAY LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" brass dial with leaf cast spandrels and silvered Roman chapter ring has a matted centre fitted with seconds dials and date aperture, fronting an eight-day weight-driven movement with inner count strike and anchor escapement. The latter case has a caddy top and applied pillars above a long trunk door and plinth base.
