A RARE LATE 19TH CENTURY GIANT GILT ENGRAVED GORGE CASED REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH PORCELAIN PANELS having an engraved gilt gorge case with porcelain side and front panels painted with Oriental figures and flowering branches, enclosing a matching signed Roman dial with subsidiary alarm dial below, fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement with original compensated lever escapement striking and repeating on a gong with alarm mechanism, presented in its original Moroccan leather case.
