A FINE AND RARE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH EMPIRE ORMOLU AND BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK FORMED AS A CHARIOT PULLED BY CHEETAHS having a seated chuerb and raised on a leaf cast moulded plinth with brass bun feet. The 4" convex enamel dial with Roman numerals fronting an eight-day spring driven movment striking the hours and half hours a on a bell, anchor escapement stamped L.F numbered 20273, raised on a ebonised base.
