A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN MOON FLASK the circular body painted in underglaze blue with a central roundel depicting a peacock beneath flowering branches within a scrolling foliate border, the flattened sides rising to a cylindrical neck decorated with geometric bands and pendant dot motifs, flanked by a pair of pierced scroll handles, the reverse painted with flowering foliage, raised on a short foot, the base with an underglaze blue four-character mark.
