G PECQUET A PARIS. A SMALL AND VERY ORIGINAL EARLY 18TH CENTURY FRENCH LANTERN CLOCK the case surmounted by a domed bell suspended by cross straps above pierced frets, the front fret with engraved mask above a 4" Roman chapter ring surrounding a wheatear engraved centre and Arabic alarm disc fronting a weight driven movement with verge escapement and alarm mechanism striking on a bell; original side doors and hook and spike wall fitting to the back - with original wood-cased lead weight and bob pendulum.
