ATT. GIOVANNI BOLDINI (1842-1931). A LARGE EARLY 20TH CENTURY OIL ON CANVAS FAMILY PORTRAIT OF MRS EDWARD'S AND HER FOUR CHILDREN

A large piece of canvas is missing from the bottom right corner of the painting. There are also scratches and a small puncture mark on the bottom edge of the canvas. It also has craquelure and small paint losses throughout. There is another small puncture mark at the bottom of the lady's pearls. The surface is very dirty and would benefit from being cleaned. The frame is original to the canvas, and the painting is of a very large scale.

The picture has come from a private estate.
