A RARE 19TH CENTURY STRIKING CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH RARE PIVOTED DETENT ESCAPEMENT the one-piece brass moulded case with bevelled glass panels enclosing an enamel dial with Roman numerals fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement fitted an original jewelled pivoted detent escapement, striking the hours/half hours on a bell.
