A 20TH CENTURY FRENCH REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH MOONPHASE AND CALENDARWORK the substantial brass case with reeded corner columns enclosing a silvered dial with Roman numerals surrounding a moonphase aperture above three subsidiary dials for day/alarm/date fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement striking and repeating the hours on a gong; with alarm and cylinder escapement - calendar adjustment to the underside.
