A LONGINES SHIP'S CHRONOMETER CIRCA 1940 the mahogany box enclosing a lacquered brass gimballed case with a 3" silvered dial set with Arabic numerals surrounding a subsidiary seconds dial and power reserve dial fronting a 36 hour 21 jewelled movement with Swiss lever, helical balance spring, adjusted to temperature and 5 positions - the weighted screw-off back revealing a glazed viewing aperture to the movement.
Box measures 15.5cm wide, 10.5cm high
