A LARGE EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU PORTICO CLOCK the high quality gilded case with acanthus leaf moulds and reeded Corinthian columns supporting a 5" dial with silvered Roman chapter ring enclosing an engine-turned centre fronting a signed spring driven eight-day movement with outside countwheel striking the hours/half hours on a bell, anchor escapement with compensated gridiron pendulum
