DAVID LESTURGEON, LONDON. A LATE 17TH CENTURY BRASS STRIKING LANTERN CLOCK surmounted by a large bell supported by brass bell straps above an engraved pierced fret with stylised dolphins, the 6.5" Roman chapter ring surrounding a foliate engraved centre fronting a posted framed twin weight-driven striking movement with verge escapement and anchor shaped pendulum swinging between the plates.
