A LATE 17TH CENTURY 10” EIGHT-DAY FIGURED WALNUT LONGCASE CLOCK the 10" brass dial with mask-head spandrels, chapter ring with Roman numerals and outer minute markers enclosing a matted centre with ringed winding holes, date aperture, seconds dial and central alarm disc fronting an substantial finely made latched five-pillar movement with outside countwheel, anchor escapement and hour/ half hour strike on a bell. The case with applied turned pillars, long trunk door with lenticle and plinth base.
