The 12 1/4" silvered brass observatory dial having outer minutes and subsidiary seconds and hour dials fronting a massive eight-day weight driven movement with four oversized double screwed pillars, high count pinions with 6 spoke wheel work, deadbeat escapement with large double framed jewelled pallet escapement, Harrisons maintaining power and jewelled end stops throughout, original compensated mercury pendulum.
