A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU AND PORCELAIN PANELLED MANTEL CLOCK the gorge style case enclosing Sevres style porcelain panels with gilt turquoise beaded borders and pink ground, the dial having Roman chapter ring surrounding a foliated centre with white doves above a classical romantic garden scene fronting an eight-day spring driven movement with anchor escapement striking the hours/half hours on a bell.
