A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRONZE TABLE CLOCK MODELLED AS A TIBETAN TEMPLE the galleried top supported by figural columns surmounted by a seated Buddhist god above a gilt dial with Arabic numerals surrounded by cast animals and relief panels flanked by turned columns on a square moulded double plinth base raised on foo-dog stylized feet; the eight-day spring driven movement with anchor escapement striking the hours on a gong.
