AN UNUSUAL GEORGE I EBONISED QUARTER REPEATING BRACKET CLOCK TIMEPIECE of small proportion in an ebonised case with caddy top and brass carry handle enclosing a 6" arched brass dial signed below the chapter ring with matted centre, mock pendulum and calendar apertures and a dummy winding hole to the left, the arch with subsidiary calendar dial showing month and date, fronting a signed single fusee 8-day movement with verge escapement and scroll-engraved backplate repeating the quarters and hour on two bells.
