RICHARD STREET, LONDON. AN IMPRESSIVE EARLY 18TH CENTURY EBONISED LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" dial with mask and cherub spandrels, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and outer five minute markers enclosing a matted centre with engraved oval name cartouche, date aperture and seconds dial fronting an eight-day movement with large turned pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell. The well proportioned substantial case with double caddy top above a long trunk door with brass framed lentical, the waist mould with carved corbels and standing on a double plinth base.
