JOHN SCOTT, LONDON. A LATE GEORGE III MINIATURE FIGURED MAHOGANY THREE-TRAIN LONGCASE CLOCK the 7" arched gilt-brass dial with rococo spandrels, enamelled Roman and Arabic chapter ring, name plaque and subsidiary dials to the arch for hour and quarter hour strike enclosing matted centres with subsidiary seconds and leaf engraved corners to the arch. The eight-day three-train weight driven five pillar movement with anchor escapement striking the hour on a single bell and quarter hours on series of six graduated bells, pagoda-top hood to the case and moulded-edge shaped trunk door above a panelled base with triple moulded plinth.
