WHITEHURST, DERBY A RARE EARLY 19TH CENTURY ENGLISH SKELETON CLOCK the inverted Y-shaped frame raised on stylized flowerhead feet and united by three turned pillars secured with flowerhead nuts, the signed 3" silvered dial with Roman numerals fronting a chain-driven fusee movement with deadbeat escapement and large great wheel with five-spoke wheel work throughout; mounted on a clipped cornered rectangular plinth mounted with a rope twist border - on a marble plinth under glass dome.
