The case has a good original colour and polish, the eglomise glass panels. There are small pieces missing from the corner of the swan neck pediments. There are also two shrinkage splits on the hood door. The trunk door has chips to the edge of the opening side and two small sections of moulding missing to the hinged side. There are two splits in the door above the escutcheon. The movement is original to the case sitting on its original seatboard. The dial is dirty but complete, the hands are later and the second hand is missing. The moonwork is missing from the movement but otherwise complete with calendar work. It does run and strike when pressure is applied to the barrels, but is very dirty and needs attention. Comes with weights and pendulum.
